What they share is a 25-to-30 centimetre depth that lets them slip into places where the deeper rectangular systems can't. What sets the Hollywood apart is the height. At sixty-one centimetres tall — taller than the Cuba's thirty, shorter than the Amesbury's eighty-one — it sits in a sweet spot the other narrow planters can't reach. The shortest 61 cm length reads almost as a tall sculptural box — a doorway flanker, a stand-alone accent in a corner, a small planted column at the edge of a reception. The longer sizes (121.9, 152.4, 182.9 cm) become uninterrupted lines along façades, terrace edges, restaurant frontages and balcony rails. Three or four lengths combined with the matching corner piece compose around any irregular boundary — exactly the kind of geometry that traditional planters force you to compromise around. The 23.9 cm interior width keeps the planting choice deliberate: clipped boxwood, lavender, low ornamental grasses, layered seasonal flowers, scented herbs along a pavement terrace. The Hollywood doesn't pretend to grow trees. It grows the right planting for its proportions, which is what separates a good specification from a great one.
